Step 1: Preparation and root deep epilation
First, the skin and hair are cleansed with EpilaDerm Primer and thus prepared for gentle depilation / epilation.
The hair is then epilated root-deep, preferably with EpilaDerm-Sugaring for best results, alternatively with suitable waxing methods or epilators. This exposes the hair follicle. Thus, the remaining anagen hair cells in the follicle are open for the enzyme application.
Step 2: Skin cleansing with water
Immediately after epilation, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the depilated areas with lukewarm water, e.g. with a damp compress. The moist skin surface also ensures an optimal pH value for the effect of the EpilaDerm enzyme complex.
The enzyme complex is applied only after cleansing (step 3).
** Oil-soluble detergents should be avoided as they may inhibit enzyme application.
Step 3: Applying the 2-phase enzyme complex
Open hair follicles and time windows
It is important to apply the enzyme complex immediately after depilation – about a 15 to 20 minute time window – while the hair follicles are still empty and completely open.
It is therefore advisable to divide applications on larger skin areas into several small sections, e.g. first epilate a lower leg completely and then apply the EpilaDerm enzyme complex directly afterwards. The same procedure (first the left side and then the right side) is also recommended for the armpits.
Application intervals
Experience has shown that 12-18 applications every 2 to 4 weeks for the face and every 4 to 8 weeks for body regions are required for longer lasting hair-free skin with reduced hair regrowth. Regularity between applications ensures that no hair generation is skipped and thus increases long-term success.
Amplification of the effect
The use of ultrasound after the application of EpilaDerm Accelerator (phase 2) can be used e.g. for thick skin and stubborn and very thick hair with deep hair roots, e.g. men’s backs, armpits, beard hair.
Powder with talc could influence enzymatic activity
The use of powders with talcum powder in connection with a subsequent EpilaDerm enzyme application should be avoided if possible.
Storage
Store the EpilaDerm enzyme complex in a dry place and below 25 degrees Celsius.
The enzyme complex has very low material and time consumption per application.
The EpilaDerm enzyme complex is very economical to use and allows you to upgrade your waxing and sugaring services with skin-friendly & intensive skin-care, offering permanent hair growth reduction at a very low cost and time.
In addition, you save the cost of other post-epilatory skincare products in the cabin.
The enzyme complex is very economical in use – see the application table for the kit with the 2×30 ml dispensers…
This is how proteolysis works…
Unlike IPL and laser, which use high light energy to destroy the anagen hair cells in the hair follicle through thermolysis, EpilaDerm’s enzymes have a proteolytic (protein-splitting) effect on the protein compounds of the same hair cells and ultimately cause them to phagocytose.
This process deprives the hair of its basis for growth and reduces regrowth or completely stops the formation of new hair from the given hair follicle over time.
At the same time, the skin is moisturised, cooled and soothed. Any redness and/or skin irritation is effectively reduced due to the anti-inflammatory effect of the enzyme complex. Your clients do not need any further post-epilatory care products.
What research and knowledge is behind EpilaDerm Mr Pedersen Senior?
“Our laboratory in Denmark has over 25 years of research and development experience in the use of active enzymes in humans. EpilaDerm draws on this know-how, spurred on by a revolutionary new discovery in 2003, in which it was possible for the first time to preserve the very high enzymatic activity in the packaging or in a solution, until applied to the skin.”
Conclusion from the in vitro laboratory test:
The rings in Fig.2 – of the EpilaDerm enzyme complex 2009 (4th generation) are larger than in 2003 and 2007, confirming the so far unsurpassed and highly measured “proteolytic-protein digesting” properties of epiladerm.
Why is EpilaDerm enzyme care such a high-quality product Mr Pedersen Junior?
“The proteolytic EpilaDerm enzymes have a natural, specific ‘protein-digesting’ property and break down on their own once their work is done. Others remain on the skin with residues.
The effective time with EpilaDerm enzymes is about 10 minutes after applying and mixing phases 1 and 2 together. Comparison products degrade within a few seconds and thus cannot work where they are supposed to.”
Measurement of enzyme activity in EpilaDerm compared to another enzyme product?
The other enzyme product only has less than 10% of activity 6 months after the first measurement.
Has the hair growth reduction been clinically documented Mr Pedersen Junior?
Yes. Long-term dermatological tests showed after 6 months a reduction in hair growth from about 41% after application of the EpilaDerm enzyme complex in conjunction with classic waxing.
In addition, the application was documented as very skin-friendly.
“EpilaDerm offers a product in accordance with the latest research and with the highest safety, purity and enzyme activity available in the application!”
